Isn’t it crazy how fast October is coming to an end? We are fast approaching the end of the year, and with November and December comes the holiday season! I personally have at least two major commitments involving traveling in the next few weeks, and although I don’t intend to go crazy drinking and indulging in everything that comes in front of me, I do plan on relaxing and enjoying the events, making good decisions, having fun, but most importantly, being present!
For this reason, the next few weeks will be crucial for me as I prepare my body and mind for my trips. I intend, in the next few weeks, to pay a little extra attention to my food decisions, commit to move my body in a way I can break a sweat, at least 5 days per week, and make sure I have good quality sleep of at least 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep per day.
Here is my meal plan for this week, which includes some meal ideas from Monday to Friday. I usually don’t plan my meals for the weekends on purpose, since I usually go out with friends or family, or even alone, and find myself eating somewhere else. I do try to keep balance and eat as healthy as I can, trying to keep my meal options simple, fresh and delicious.
Feel free use this template as inspiration for some of your own meal ideas. You might want to try one or two dishes, or maybe you decide to make an entire new plan based on your own meal preferences. Whatever you do, keep in mind to eat whole foods as much as you can! For more tips on how to shop and eat smart, and for another weekly meal plan example, check out my previous post!
Finally but not least, below is a picture of how my lunch for Monday looked… it was simple yet delicious, and left me feeling full and content!… But tell me more about you: do you usually plan your meals? Do we have similar dishes in our diets? Or do we eat completely different? Do you have any dietary restrictions or preferences?
